Stitch Fix Review #4

This is my fourth Stitch Fix review. Wow, that's a lot. If you don't know what Stitch Fix is, here's the quick and dirty: Stitch Fix is a personalized styling company. You visit their website, fill out a "style profile", indicating what types of clothes and accessories you like and fit your style. It also helps to build a Pinterest page of your style (that's my page), where you can pin things that represent you. You pay a $20 "styling fee", and a few weeks later, a box shows up at your doorstep, with 5 items, customized for you. You have 3 days to try them on and decide what you want to keep. Everything you don't want just gets packaged up in the pre-paid envelope and returned. If you keep all 5 items, you get a 25% discount on the total. AND, if you use my referral link, I get a $25 credit :) I've actually enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would!

Alright, here's my fourth review. (You can find my other boxes here, here and here.)

Box Number Four:

Skies are Blue Egret Embroidery Detail Tank - $54
Skies are Blue Egret Embroidery Detail Tank: I reacted to this right as I pulled it out of the box. And not in the happy reaction way. I like the colors and the pattern, but this just reminds me of something I would wear when I was 13 (actually, I did have a shirt just like this when I was younger...). Maybe in another time (and for another price), but not today. Sent back.

Liverpool Janice Straight Leg Jean - $78
Liverpool Janice Straight Leg Jean: Stitch Fix must have jeans coming out of their ears. Yes, I requested jeans in my first box, but took that out of the suggestions, and actually asked that they not send me anymore jeans (especially at $78 - I just can't justify that). And guess what? In four boxes, four pairs of jeans. These probably fit the best, but when I just bought a pair of dark straight legs at BR for $20, no thanks. Sent back (again).

Papermoon Mattis Geo Print Henley Blouse - $48
Papermoon Mattis Geo Print Henley Blouse: When I put this on, it was the one thing, probably of anything I have ever tried on and showed my husband, that he said, "Oh, that looks nice, just like something you would wear." Usually it's pulling teeth to get some input from him, so when he reacted, unprovoked, I thought maybe I should keep the shirt. It's ITY knit, so it's comfortable and versatile. The prices are always a little high on Stitch Fix, but I decided to go for it. Kept.

Collective Concepts Bethanne Abstract Chevron Print Tank - $58
Collective Concepts Bethanne Abstract Chevron Print Tank: I love the patter on this blouse. Great colors, texture, just my style. The material is a thin poly-rayon. The cut is a little boxy, but I might add some darts or bring in the sides a bit. Turns out I really like Collective Concepts, I think I keep something of theirs from each box. Kept.

Pixley Cambridge Metal Belt Cuff Bracelet - $28
Pixley Cambridge Metal Belt Cuff Bracelet: This is great. I don't have a lot of jewelry other than earrings, so I really liked this bracelet. But what's that on the sides? When it showed up, it was all tarnished and dirty. Not sure how that happened (did it get wet?), but I told SF and they promptly responded that they would send me a new one. I really should put a picture of the nice, clean new one. When the new one arrived, I kept it.

Oh, now I feel bad about the tarnished photo. Here's a nice one of the new bracelet:

So, four boxes, and each time I keep one more thing (this box was 3 items). At this rate, I will keep all 5 things in my 6th box. I'm taking a break for Stitch Fix for a while, I have enough new things, and I need to save some money! But if you're interested, it's pretty fun. Here's my referral link, and if you sign up, I get credit!

Interested in receiving a box of your own, perfectly styled just for you? It's easy! Sign up using my referral link (yes, I get credit when you use that specific link), fill out your Style Profile, and get excited - only a few weeks until your box! Just make sure you set up a Pinterest page with your style - this helps highlight what you like. It's that simple!

Oh, one day I was cruising around eBay, and saw one of MY photos being used to sell a shirt. So now I'm putting a watermark. What's up with that?!?!
